The UM FLAT is a sustainable demonstration house located in Missoula, Montana, and run by students from the University of Montana. We will be using this blog to give you updates on our projects, stories, and relevant resources. Please keep in touch and ask questions as we go along!
This semester has already seen a lot of activity, and you can look forward to announcements and reflections on the following:
- Rocky Mountain PowerShift, which took place over President’s Day Weekend
- Wild Mercy, an annual reading series with the Environmental Studies department. Please join us on Wednesday evenings at 7pm from now until March 14th to hear new and innovate nature writing.
- Gardening – we just filled our hot bed with horse manure, which signals the start of spring in Montana!
- Earth Day Open House and BBQ, on April 20th
- and much more.
